WILLMANN ROAD TO UNBC (JUNE 26)

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading an Easy (C1c) hike from Willmann Road on Cranbrook Hill to the Greenway Trail trailhead at UNBC, via the Blue Spruce Trail trailhead, on Sunday, June 26th. This hike will involve a vehicle shuttle, with at least one vehicle parked at the Greenway Trail/UNBC parking lot, and the rest parked at the south end of Willmann Road on Cranbrook Hill, where the hike will start. This hike will involve a combination of hiking on trails and bushwhacking and long pants or gaiters are recommended. At least part of the hike will involve travelling on informal trails like Carter’s Cut, Bears, and Olds to the Greenway Trail/UNBC parking lot. Please meet 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time at 9 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall. The carpool fee is $2.

NEW TORPY TRAIL

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Moderate/Strenuous (C3d) hike up the New Torpy Trail, east-northeast of Prince George, on Sunday, June 19. It is now prime mosquito season, so make sure you bring insect repellent or mosquito nets with you. Also, please bring plenty of water.

Please meet no later then 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 6 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall. The carpool fee is $12.

POPE MOUNTAIN

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Moderate (C4d) hike up Pope Mountain, about 160 km northwest of Prince George, near Fort St. James, on Sunday, June 5. As it is now prime mosquito time, bringing insect repellent or mosquito nets with you is recommended. Please meet 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall. The carpool fee is $15.
