Ancient Forest Trail / Universal Boardwalk Signage – Progress Report April 1st, 2014

Ancient Forest Trail / Universal Boardwalk Signage – Progress Report April 1st, 2014

Plans for 2014 are to install additional interpretive signs along the Ancient Forest Loop, as well as new “You Are Here” signs at all the junctions.

An updated map showing the Universal Boardwalk will be mounted onto the large sign at the main entrance to the trail and boardwalk.

Interpretive signs will also be added at various points along the Universal Boardwalk.

Thanks to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and Prince George Community Foundation for continued support for the Ancient Forest Interpretive Site by providing all the funding needed for this signage project.

Thanks also to Professor Darwyn Coxson in the Ecosystem Science Management Program at the University of Northern British Columbia, for volunteering his time to develop the signage interpretive plan.

All the labor to put the signs together and install will be undertaken by Caledonia Ramblers volunteers.
