Ancient Forest/Universal Boardwalk Interpretive Signage Project – Progress Report November 24, 2014

Progress Report November 24, 2014

New signs at all the junctions on the Ancient Forest Trail were installed this year, and an updated map on the large sign at the parking area showing the Universal Boardwalk route as well as other options to choose from on the Ancient Forest Trail. Thanks to Jedidiah Zimmerman and Brendan Murphy for developing and designing these signs, Travis at Signtek for arranging and printing the signs, and Caledonia Ramblers volunteers for the installation work.

Additional interpretive signs on the Ancient Forest Trail and new signage on the Universal Boardwalk which were scheduled to be installed this year are now re-scheduled for next year.  Thanks to Darwyn Coxson for taking on the task of an interpretive plan that will be manifest in these signs.

We also thank TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and Prince George Community Foundation for providing the funding for these signage projects that will contribute so beautifully to the Ancient Forest experience!
