Hike Details

Tumbler Ridge

Friday
July 1, 2022 to July 3, 2022
Departure - TBA

Destination: Tumbler Ridge

The Caledonia Ramblers will be hosting a trip to Tumbler Ridge over the Canada Day long weekend. The hikes will largely depend on the mood of the group but waterfalls will likely be a theme - Kinuseo Falls, Bergeron Falls (and Bergeron Cliffs) and Quality Falls (and Quality Canyon) might be worth checking out. We’ll be sticking to designated trails and likely nothing too difficult. The plan is to drive up Friday, July 1, although others are welcome to show up on Saturday, and leave on Sunday, July 3. It’s about a 4 1/2-hour drive, not including stops.

Sites 7 and 8 have been reserved at the Lions Flatbed Creek campground and there is enough room to hold as many as eight tents. (Cost is $20 per tent per night). However, we also urge those interested in bringing along a trailer or a camper to reserve a site well in advance as they fill up quickly. To do so, call 250-242-1197. (Two club members have reserved sites 9 and 10 so far).

Anyone who’s interested can email Mark Nielsen.

The carpool fee is $TBA
