Destination: Jasper National Park
The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading an exciting snowshoe trips in Jasper National Park this Family Day weekend in February. The plan is to leave Prince George on Friday February 10th and return Monday February 13th. Don't worry, we will not be camping out in the snow. As an added bonus, because it is Canada's 150th birthday, all national parks are free for the year - so no park admission fees! If you are interested in going (and committed to go) then please contact Peter (firstname.lastname@example.org) so he can maintain a list of who is going and possibly help with accommodation arrangements (i.e. finding roommates to share the cost, suggested places to stay, etc.). It will be up to you to book your accommodations.
The car pool fee will be $60. We will be leaving around 10am on Friday so that we can arrive in Jasper while there is still some light out. However, if you would like to arrive later, then that is up to you. We will meet at a predetermined location each morning to sign in for the snowshoe trip for that day before heading out. It should be a great time with some spectacular views. Don't miss your opportunity to snowshoe in one of the greatest parks in the world!
The carpool fee is $60 plus lodging and food
