Pilot Mountain

Description

This small mountain is 17km NW of Prince George and provides excellent views towards Chief Lake, Wright Creek, and Prince George. The McGregor Mountains are often visible to the east.  The access road leading up the mountain is the traditional route to the summit(s).  Over more recent years there was a trail developed leading up through the forest to a lookout point then on to the south summit.  Look for ribbons just in front of the the first pole on the left side of the road heading up.
