Destination: West Driscoll Ridge
The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Strenuous snowshoe up the west end of Driscoll Ridge, starting from the new west end trailhead about 105 km east of Prince George, on Sunday, Jan. 14th. Snowshoers may attempt to reach the repeating tower at the top of the ridge's west end, depending on weather, snow conditions and snowshoers' wishes. Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, lunch and snacks, extra warm clothing, gaiters and hiking poles. Please meet 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 8 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall.
