Simon Zukowski and the Goat river Trail – 15 minute presentation

Simon has been volunteering with the Fraser Headwaters Alliance for about a year now to help them maintain and promote the Goat River Trail. He hiked the 48km Upper Goat section of the trail from approx. Bowron Lake to the Goat River / Milk River confluence near Crescent Spur. This is one of few low elevation crossings of the Cariboo Mountains and one of a shrinking number of un-logged, un-developed areas in that region.

Simon’s presentation which he calls the “Goat River Trail: A Secret of The Cariboos” is a brief overview of the trail and its history with the goal increasing awareness of this interesting trail among the PG hiking community.
