Destination: Viking Ridge

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a moderate/strenuous hike up to the lake immediately below Viking Ridge on Sunday 22nd, approximately 85 km east of Prince George. The elevation gain is 869 metres and the round-trip distance is 11 km. Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or something else to drink, lunch and snacks, extra clothing and rain gear, gaiters and bear spray. Hiking poles may also prove useful. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 7 a.m. at the Prince George City Hall parking lot.
