The Ramblers welcome non-members to participate in one or two club hikes to try it out, but then require that you purchase a membership. Anyone interested in a membership can simply show up to one of the scheduled Sunday hikes, fill out the membership form and pay the fee (cheque or exact cash payment only please). A membership can also be purchased by completing the online membership form and waiver form. If minors will be participating in any hikes, then a minors’ waiver form must be completed as well. After completing it you can then print both out, sign the waiver, and then mail them along with fee payment to the Club address.
You can also pay your fee using e-transfer from your online bank account. E-transfer your fee to: email@example.com (our account is setup for auto deposit for e-transfers).
A membership with the Ramblers covers one full hiking season, from April of one year to March of the following year.
The current annual $35 individual member fee consists of:
- $15 Ramblers membership
- $8 Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia membership
- $12 for liability insurance
After paying the $35 for the first member, couples and families pay only the $12 insurance fee for each additional member.
