Nineteen adventurous Ramblers hit the historic Telegraph Trail and Alexander Mackenzie route, racking up about 15 km of fresh‑air fun.
The day started with a bit of a chill, but before long we were basking in a glorious 17 degrees. With sun on our faces, dirt under our boots, and a trail so perfect not a single spike was needed. Huge shout-out to Tim Gardner, Greg Watson, Mike Anderson, and Darren Adams—your trail‑clearing magic did not go unnoticed. We spotted the blowdown you tackled and were seriously grateful.
Along the way we wandered past the old cemetery—now sporting shiny new fencing—an old structure/corral, a whole collection of quirky trail markers, fungi galore, and even our very first mushroom sightings of the season.
A big thank you to Jessica for leading this always‑popular early spring outing, and to Brenda Leslie for sweeping.
