Six ramblers met at city hall and all agreed they still wanted to snowshoe Fraser Mountain.
For the most part the trail had snow and we were happy to have our snowshoes. But as it turns out the steepest section of the trail did not have snow, but ice instead. A few ramblers determined to get to the top may have gone on all fours, but I say there are no pictures so did we really? Once we all safely made it to the top of the icy section it was agreed we would come back down the forest service road, all told we did just over 15km.
It was a foggy day but it added a mystic to the snowshoe and made the scenery very unique, add to that the fresh snow and heavy frost on the trees and leaves for a spectacular day.
Thank you Tim for a great adventure.
