A great trip Sunday to the Eye of the Trench Lake via the Hungary Wetlands. A blue blazer of a day, but with firm enough snow that we were able to walk in to the lake without snowshoes. Most of us used them for the hike out as the temperature soared to nine Celsius and the snow softened. Ten people enjoyed in this inaugural club trip to this off-trail area. Looking at the pictures, who needs a Caribbean beach with this on our doorstep? Thanks for leading the trip Mike!
