With the weather not wanting to decide what to do, only eight determined Ramblers made the trip on the Pidherny trails today. It was a crossover through some beautiful terrain on trails some or most of us have not been on before. We did get some rain, but happened to come across a shelter at the right time to stop and have a snack.
As far as the length well depending on who's watch, trail forks or Gaia app anywhere between 5-9kms. (Most of us decided we liked the 9km report the best).
The trees are full with leaves, the flowers are appearing, and so many different types of mushrooms sprouting. Just as we were ending the trip we saw two deer who just stood so still while eight of us stood there with our phones taking photos, too bad we did not get a photo of that!
Thank you Rod for being our leader, we seven appreciated it.
