Five Caledonia Ramblers wandered up the crossover trail at Viking Ridge. Heading southwest towards Point of No Return, they reached Viking Meadows, but got about two-thirds of the way to the top due to the fact that they had to break trail the entire way. The snow, on average, was 18 to 24 inches deep but made the views absolutely stunning.
