The start of the meadows up to the turnoff to the crossover is now covered in plankway, as is a fair amount beyond that point thanks to a crew of five volunteers led by Dave King.

About half the plankway, that had been transported up to the site via helicopter, has been used and another work hike will likely be scheduled in the weeks to come.
