Destination: Blackwater East

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading an easy-moderate (C2d) hike along the escarpment above the Blackwater River, approximately 80 km southwest of Prince George (a round trip distance of 13 kms). Participants should consider bringing hiking boots, a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, adequate food or snacks, extra warm clothing and gaiters. Hiking poles may also be worthwhile. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 8 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall.
