Destination: Caledonia Mountain

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading one of the most attractive alpine areas in Prince George, this hike is rated strenuous with an elevation gain of 968 m and should take 6-8 hours plus driving time. Hikers must have completed 2 moderate hikes at a fast pace before attempting this hike. They should also be prepared for a full fall day in the wilderness. Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or something else to drink, lunch and snacks, extra clothing and rain gear, hiking poles, gaiters and bear spray. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 7:00 a.m. at the Prince George City Hall parking lot.
