Destination: Sugarbowl Mountain

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a combined hike/work hike along the Sugarbowl-Viking Ridge crossover on Sunday, July 21. The group will start from the Sugarbowl side clearing the trail of deadfall and brush and putting in trail markers. There may also be some work beyond on the Viking Ridge side beyond the Point of No Return. In addition to being properly equipped for a strenuous (EDe) day hike, those with bush clippers, light hammers and trail saws are encouraged to bring them along. The club can supply bush axes.

If the weather is good, this will be a full day and require a vehicle shuttle. If the weather is poor, the hike will be limited to the Sugarbowl side.

Meet at the city hall parking lot 10 minutes before the 7:30 a.m. scheduled departure time. BC Parks will cover the cost of gas so there will be no carpool fee.
