Destination: Forests for the World

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading an Easy/Moderate (B2c) snowshoe trip on the Crest Circuit Loop beginning across Crest Road on Kuen Road. The trip will take about 4 hours taking in such trails as John Blueminks, Sawdust, A Barrel of Laughs and Dream Catcher. Participants should consider bringing both ice cleats (ice grippers) and snowshoes for this trip, depending on weather and snow conditions. They should also bring hiking boots, a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, adequate food or snacks, extra warm clothing and gaiters. Hiking poles may also prove useful.  Please meet in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall 15 minutes before the 9 a.m. departure time.
