Destination: Erg Mountain

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a very strenuous hike up Erg Mountain. Participants should have successfully completed a strenuous hike this season before attempting this one and have access to a 4x4 or SUV to access the trailhead. There is a creek crossing that has a fairly strong current, so bring extra footwear to cross in. In order to do this hike, participants must preregister. As always, participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or something else to drink, lunch and snacks, extra clothing and rain gear, hiking poles, gaiters and bear spray. Please meet at 6:15 a.m. at the Prince George City Hall parking lot.
