Destination: Mount Murray (Barkerville)

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Moderate/Strenuous (D4d) hike up Mt. Murray (Barkerville) on Saturday, July 12th, approximately 215 km southeast of Prince George. This will be a there and back hike up the Yellowhawk trail to the summit. Preregistration is required for this hike and hikers must have completed at least one strenuous hike beforehand. Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something else to drink, lunch and snacks, extra clothing and rain gear, insect repellent, gaiters and perhaps sunscreen, hiking poles and bear spray. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 7 a.m. at the Highway 16 East PetroCan parking lot.
