Destination: The Farm

The first day will take hikers to the Farm cabin, where they will set up camp. It may be possible to go higher in the afternoon. The first day will be at least 5 kms long and see hikers climb at least 800 metres. It will be a moderate to moderately strenuous day, and there are some brushy sections along the trail. Day two will take hikers to the ridge above the cabin and push them north and east 8 kms to Pyramid Mountain (conditions permitting). It will be a strenuous day with an elevation gain of at least 500 metres and a total distance back to the parking lot of over 20 kms.

Standard hiking gear will be required (backpack, good boots, food, rain gear, bug/bear spray, etc.), as will a tent, sleeping bag, meals, and cooking supplies. Sharing is possible.

The plan will be to leave PG at around 8am on Saturday, July 13. Travis will arrange ride sharing and pick-ups, accommodation, and gear sharing. Participants are asked to pre-register by Thursday, July 11. To do so, email Travis or phone him at the number below.
