Destination: Teapot Mountain

This is a dual hike depending on beaver dam overflow at Coffee Pot that will be checked after the Tea Pot hike.

Teapot is an enjoyable hike with very rewarding views at the top, it's rated easy-moderate with a distance of 5 km, round trip, and an elevation gain of about 200 m. It takes about one hour to reach the top but the trail can be quite steep in places making the climb a little bit more difficult. 

Coffee Pot follows the rim of what is actually an ancient volcano, and is an easy 2 hour hike with an interesting landscape and good view of the mountains.

Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or something else to drink, lunch and snacks, extra clothing and rain gear, hiking poles, gaiters and bear spray. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 9 a.m. at the Prince George City Hall parking lot.
