Destination: Wells

The walk will start at the Barkerville parking lot and follow the wagon road to just past the courthouse (Richfield) where the group will turn left and follow Williams Creek up to an open, level spot on a side hill. Distance is 10.4 kilometres round trip with an elevation gain of 217 metres and the trip is rated moderate. Meet at the City Hall parking lot 10 minutes before the departure time at 8 a.m. Participants from Prince George will  meet up with those from Quesnel at the weigh scales next to A&W on Highway 97.
