A small group of Ramblers left Prince George early Sunday morning to "enjoy" what Brendan's pet groundhog predicts will be the last major cold snap of the season. However, as the sun rose and after a short climb above the river, our hikers soon warmed up.
Upon exiting the forest, we were treated to a spectacular view of Mount Rider under a clear blue sky... And our snowshoers were treated to "Brendan's Brew" upon reaching the Crescent Spur trail head at the end of our 12 km snowshoe. (Korean red ginseng tea, with honey and melted Ricola cough drops!)
