Fourteen ramblers met up in -14 for a snowshoe through Garvins Canyon.
The snowshoe was stunning, as soon as we stepped onto the trail we were blocked from any wind and we were treated to beauty all around us. The fresh snow on the trees and the trail reminded us how beautiful winter can be in Prince George.
Nowell advised us we would have two leaders today, Darren in the front and he, Nowell, was taking the back. Darren led us on a trail that meandered through the snow covered forest on the ridge of the canyon and eventually looped around following the canyon bottom back.
Thank you Daren for trail breaking, and Nowell for the lovely song and making this snowshoe happen.
