Ferguson Lake is a small and beautiful lake on the north eastern edge of the Prince George city limits. It's a great place to go for a nice walk around the picturesque lake and to view a couple of homesteaders homes built in the early 1900s. You can choose to go either way around the lake. The trail is well maintained with a few nice boardwalks. Most of the trail is quite flat with very few gentle slopes.

Travel north on the John Hart Highway (highway 97 North) and turn left onto North Kelly Road. Continue along this road for until you see a sign that says "Ferguson Lake Nature Reserve" and turn left onto Ferguson Lake Road. Continue down the road about 5 km until you reach the lake.
