Description

Hixon Falls is a beautiful canyon hiking trail that ends at a 100 foot cascading waterfall. Hixon Creek itself, is named after a 19th century prospector Joseph Foster Hixon who did find gold on the banks of the creek. The Falls are equally spectacular in the winter when the water has frozen over.
