West Driscoll Ridge

Description

Located in the Cariboo Mountains 110km east of Prince George along Highway 16. The trail, built in 2006, is made up of two trails: the East end trail and the West end trail. A ridge walk connects these trails. Both the East and West end trails ascend through Cedar then Engelmann spruce and subalpine fir zones before reaching the ridge crest featuring an attractive combination of open glades and subalpine fir. The summit at 1803 m (5914 ft) and the ridge walk provides views of the surrounding mountains and Rocky Mountain Trench.
