Destination: Viking Ridge

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Moderate/Strenuous (C4c) hike up to Viking Meadows, approximately 85 km east of Prince George, on Saturday, June 17th. Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something else to drink, lunch and snacks, extra clothing, insect repellent, gaiters and perhaps sunscreen, hiking poles and bear spray. Snowshoes may be necessary once at the meadows to view the seasonal falls. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall.
